Lady of Shalott is considered one of the best roses bred by David Austin, thanks to its outstanding blooming performance across seasons, disease resistance, and robust appearance. This variety displays apricot-colored, cup-shaped blooms with a diameter of 8 cm, each cluster containing about 60 petals. The blooms create a striking contrast against the foliage, with red-green bronze buds that mature into mid-green leaves. Gracefully nestled within dense, arching branches, this rose exudes a strong fragrance with a hint of tea, combined with subtle apple and clove notes. It was bred by David Austin and released in 2007.
